It’s funny how I still remember the look on my face when I read the first email David sent me. He had it all so clear, and such a grasp of the measurements, that designing the geometry was plain sailing. A tweak here, an improvement there, a few millimetres over here, and suddenly there it was: the final sketch of what would become his future steel bicycle, the material that runs through his veins.
